October 29, 2012 - Due to on-going weather-related conditions, Framingham State University’s day classes are canceled on Tuesday, 10/30/12. Tuesday classes beginning on or after 4:30 p.m. will run as scheduled. All university events scheduled prior to 4:30 p.m. are canceled; however, the Human Services Career Event scheduled for Tuesday evening in the Forum of the McCarthy Center will take place as planned. Athletic team practices may resume at or after 4:30 on Tuesday; student athletes should contact their coaches with any questions.

September 17, 2012 - Computer Science major Anthony Morla recently joined the ranks of innovators who have developed cell phone apps accepted by Apple. Morla is the creator of Gratuity Genius, an app that functions as a guide for any tipping situation. The app will calculate tips for a variety of different venues, including hair salons, delivery food and restaurants. It also assists with splitting a bill.
September 10, 2012 - Framingham State University is excited to announce the opening of its new Community Education Center in the historic Jonathan Maynard Building just a few-minute walk from campus.
August 15, 2012 - Framingham State is pleased to announce the establishment of a full-time office to assist veterans and active members of the military attending the University. FSU has hired Kevin Fields to serve as the new coordinator of Veterans Services. Fields spent nearly seven years in the Army primarily operating as a mechanized infantry squad leader, and later as a section leader.
