The Department supports internships in all political fields.  This is an excellent opportunity to learn outside of the classroom.  Internships provide a window into what the material we teach in the classroom looks like when practiced.  They also lead to jobs after graduation.  Students have worked in a wide variety of areas including: the state legislature, United States Congress, political campaigns, interest groups/lobbyists, law firms, and court houses.  The Washington Center offers internships in Washington and overseas. The Office of Career Services on our campus offers support for internships as well. link
