Dr. Vreven received a B.S. in Psychology from Michigan State University, an M.A. in Psychology from Central Michigan University, and a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Brown University in 1999.

Dr. Vreven has broad research interests in visual perception and cognition. Recent projects include an exploration of "hot cognition" in relation to sociopolitical concepts, as well as exploratory studies of visual cognition using evoked-related potentials.
