The University has engaged the services of the National Student Clearinghouse to provide Degree Completion verifications.

Degree verifications usually require information that the University has designated as directory information (FERPA); therefore, a signed release form is not required.  If the verification requires information not considered directory information, or if the student has requested data restriction (FERPA Confidentiality hold), a written request, along with a release signed by the student, is required before the degree verification can be processed.  

Please note: Data restrictions remain in effect even after graduation.  If a student has a data restriction, the Office of the University Registrar cannot confirm enrollment or degrees earned to prospective employers or any other party without the student's permission.  The restriction may be added or reversed by the student submitting a written and signed request to the Office of the Registrar or by visiting the Office.
