APPLICATION TO THE SOCIOLOGY MAJOR

Students wishing to become sociology majors must make application through the Chair of the Sociology Department. Students are encouraged to make application at the beginning of the fall or spring semester. However, applications will be accepted throughout the academic year.

Applications will be reviewed by the department Chair and, on occasion, by other members of the department. Decisions regarding applications will be made during the semester of application and students will be informed of those decisions prior to registration for the following semester.

Any questions about the application procedures should be directed to the department Chair.
