Questions about Volunteering and Community Service Opportunities:
Special Projects and Events
Throughout the year, student involvement coordinates special projects that collaborate with local agencies or respond to current events. Some projects are simple morning clean-ups, while others require extensive planning.
Each spring, Special Olympics comes to Framingham State University and is a collaborative effort amongst different university offices, students and the local community. The Special Olympics is dedicated to empowering students with intellectual disabilities. Student leaders take charge in planning the MetroWest School Day Games to ensure the event is a fun and exciting event for the athletes and all those who participate. Details for student volunteers are released throughout the year depending on the position.
The 2014 games will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Bowditch Field. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
