Mathematics Courses at Other Schools
Equivalent to 43.095 General Mathematics

The following is a list of courses offered by selected other schools that are considered equivalent to Framingham State’s 43.095 General Mathematics.  If your placement test results indicate that you need to strengthen your algebra preparation, one way to do so would be to take an algebra course at a local community college, college, or university.  Other schools not listed here may have appropriate courses.  Before registering for courses not on this list, please check with Dr. Walter Czarnec, chair of Framingham State College’s mathematics department, at 508-626-4729 or at czarnec@frc.mass.edu. All other questions may be referred to Ben Trapanick at 508-626-4905 or at placement@frc.mass.edu.

Please be aware that each institution may have pre-requisite requirements that need to be satisfied before enrollment into the above classes.

If you achieve a grade of C- or better in one of these courses, your math code will be changed to indicate that you have passed our placement testing requirement.  When you return to campus in the fall, you must bring a grade report to Ben Trapanick  in CASA, so your placement code can be updated.
