Academic Technology and Distance Education's (ATDE) mission is to promote and support the integration of technology into teaching and learning. Through the Marion Scherner Leonhard Multimedia Technology Lab, ATDE provides professional development opportunities in the areas of computer technology and training for faculty and staff. Workshops and specialized training sessions are held in the Leonhard Lab, located on in Hemenway Hall G07. Periodic workshops are available ranging from Introduction to Word to Digital Photography workshops. ATDE's staff provides the framework for creating and implementing technology into the classroom. Support and assistance are readily available.

When the Leonhard Lab is not being used for workshops, it is available for faculty and staff to work on technology projects or get one on one support or training on course specific software or Web site enhancements.
