Hemenway Hall Hemenway Hall, the largest of the academic buildings on campus, is the location of the College's technology classrooms, student computer labs, the 70-seat College Planetarium, the Food Pilot Plant Laboratory, the green house, and the Child Development Laboratory. Hemenway Hall houses classrooms and laboratories for the Family and Consumer Sciences, Mathematics, Nursing, Biology, Chemistry and Food Science, Geography, Physics and Earth Science, and Psychology departments.

Hemenway Hall, completed in 1962, is named for Mary Hemenway, Boston philanthropist and pioneer in teaching household arts who was largely responsible for the development of the Family and Consumer Sciences department of the College.
