Off Campus Access
Whittemore Library provides access to numerous online databases for all its students and faculty. Off-campus access requires that you login using your network account username and password before being able to search the databases. Once you login, you will be able to access all the online databases without having to enter a library barcode number or a username/password.
You can access the electronic resources by selecting the off-campus button on the top right-hand side of the library homepage (above the picture). If you are faculty, enter campus\your username and enter your password. (username and password = network or blackboard account). For students, enter student\your username and then password. Once authenticated, you will see the page labeled "Off Campus Resources". Email reference if you experience problems with access.

If you do not know your network account, please contact the IT Student Helpdesk.
Borrowing
All full-time and part-time Framingham State College students have borrowing privileges at the Whittemore Library. Day and evening students must register with the library to activate the barcode on their student IDs. Borrowing privileges will expire when the student is no longer enrolled at the college.
Students are able to request for books and articles through interlibrary loan. For questions on interlibrary loan, please read the interlibrary loan policies.
Upon request, we will mail or fax library items for distance education students. Whittemore Library will be responsible for the cost of mailing materials to the patron but the patron is responsible for returning books to the library.
