Welcome to the Educator licensure Information web site. This web site is provided by the Licensure Officer at Framingham State College to assist students and alumnae/alumni with the licensure application process. You may also call the Licensure Hotline at Framingham State College for additional assistance.
Are you ready to apply for your Massachusetts educator license?
To use this web site, select your degree or program type from the list in the Licensure Program area of the navigation menu. Then, follow the instructions to get to a checklist that is designed for your specific licensure application. Links to the necessary documents are included in your
checklist page.
Are you moving out of state?
If you are applying for a license in another state and are asked to provide verification that you have completed an approved program,
please select the Out-of-State Requests link for information. Most states require some type of verification and have forms designed for this purpose.

Thursday, December 17 Student Teacher Licensure Workshop
This workshop is open to undergraduate and PBTL students who are enrolled in student teaching/practicum this fall. At the workshop, you will learn how to set up your ELAR profile, apply for your license, and advance your Initial license to Professional.
Time: 4:30-6:00 pm
Location: Whittemore Library, room 221 (on campus)
