Writing and Discussing the Limit Concept in Calculus: A Class Project

Introductory calculus students were required to read, interview instructors, write about, and discuss the limit concept in calculus.  Students’ reports indicated that they gained a wider perspective of the concept.  Furthermore, the project apparently improved students’ understanding of limit as evidenced in the pre- and post- limit surveys.
