Commencement Returns to the DCU Center

As the semester draws to a close, it's time to get excited about celebrating commencement in person for the first time since 2019.

The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, May 22, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA.

Before the big day, bring your family to campus for a celebration of the Class of 2022! We encourage everyone to enjoy our beautiful campus, take photos, and commemorate this special weekend.

The Family & Friends celebration runs from 1pm-3pm, with the Center for Inclusive Excellence's Intercultural Ceremony beginning at 2:30pm in Dwight Performing Arts Center.

Save the date for A Day in May, a day to celebrate the joyful, impactful, intellectually stimulating scholarship and creative work embodied on our campus, as well as to provide community-based, actionable support to move our individual scholarly and creative endeavors forward.


Summer Teaching Institute - Cultivating Student Confidence in Learning

Five presenters will share insights into supporting student self-efficacy in the classroom from a range of theoretical and disciplinary perspectives. Each presentation is designed to contextualize the concept of self-efficacy in real classroom practice and to offer participants with the opportunity to apply new ideas to their own teaching. The Summer Institute is a blended learning experience. Registered participants may access and view video presentations via the Canvas site called “Summer Teaching Institute.”

1. Watch the videos beginning May 10th and share your takeaways and questions in the participant discussion board. We will collect your questions and include them in our Zoom session on May 24.

2. Attend the Zoom session on May 24 from 10:00AM-12:00PM. Our presenters will share insights to complement their videos, answer questions as a panel, and facilitate individual break out groups for focused questions.
