Football and Volleyball Are Once Again MASCAC Champions

The Framingham State football and volleyball teams continued their dominance of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference this fall.

The football team wrapped up their sixth straight conference championship by beating Bridgewater State 27-17 and earning an automatic invite into the NCAA tournament. The team is riding an incredible 31 game regular season winning streak versus conference opponents.

The volleyball team captured their second straight MASCAC Tournament title with a 3-0 win over top seed MCLA in the championship game. The Rams improved to 25-8 on the year and earned their third trip to the NCAA tournament in four years. They will face Brockport from the State University of New York Athletic Conference on Friday, Nov. 13th, at 3 p.m., on the campus of Clarkson University.

The football team wraps up its regular season schedule on Saturday, Nov. 14, at Worcester State, before learning who their opponent will be in the opening round of the NCAA tournament.
