I decided to attend FSU after I toured the school with my cousin on his Accepted Students Day reception. I completely fell in love with the campus and its atmosphere. FSU soon became my top choice for college and I don't think there has been a day where I was more excited than the day I received my acceptance letter.

Throughout high school I never really joined clubs or participated due to the fact that I was so shy, but FSU changed that. Everyone on campus is really welcoming, from the staff to students and professors. They truly want to help you succeed. I soon started attending on-campus events and joining clubs, and I felt like a true Ram. Looking back, FSU has helped me overcome so many fears.

Today, I am a First Year Foundations Peer Mentor and RAMMS^2 Mentor, and I work at CASA and the Admissions Welcome Center. I am an active member of Black Student Union and Generation One. Never would I have thought that I would be achieving the things I have achieved today. FSU has truly turned into a home away from home for me. I am very happy with my choice to attend this amazing school and look forward to my next three years here.
