My experiences here at Framingham State University have shaped me into the person I am today. During my time as a student I have been challenged both academically and personally, but these challenging times have made me stronger than I ever could have imagined.

I am now the secretary of the Black Student Union club on campus for the second year in a row, as well as the president of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in education. I have made Dean’s List, President’s List, and have been awarded a scholarship by the Framingham State Alumni Association.

I am most proud of how I have successfully balanced coursework, several jobs and an internship. While working as an intern at the Christa McAuliffe Center on campus, I was also working two jobs off-campus, and serving as a Black and Gold Orientation leader. The personal connections I have made here at Framingham State have helped me achieve this balance. I am more focused than ever and determined to shape my own experiences and my future.
