We offer a variety of undergraduate, graduate and professional development programs to give you the competitive edge in today's health and wellness market place.
At our traditional New England campus, you'll find that excellence goes hand-in-hand with intellectual and skills development. We offer a small, close-knit community of faculty and students. By keeping classes small our dedicated faculty members can provide you with individualized academic support, advising and career counseling. We attract the highest caliber faculty who offer you a diverse and enriching curriculum.
Our Nutrition and Dietetics graduates have a high pass rate on the national Registration Exam for Dietitians. Our Health and Wellness graduates have found employment in the nutrition education, fitness, and food services careers.
Spotlight on Food and Nutrition

WIC Nutritionist, Massachusetts General Hospital
"I cannot say enough about the dedication of the FSU nutrition faculty to prepare me for my job and life. Besides nutrition and foods, they taught me time management, perseverance, and critical thinking skills. I am now confident in my abilities to tackle any nutrition career path I choose. They were my source of encouragement when I thought I wouldn't make it to graduation."

Coordinator and Advisor, Professor
Dr. Neubauer, who retired at the end of the last academic year, was recognized with the Outstanding Dietitian of the Year award for her commitment to educating and mentoring dietetic students over the past 40 plus years. She has directed FSU’s Coordinated Program in Dietetics since 1985.

Nutrition Director, Foxboro YMCA
“Framingham State prepared me for a smooth transition from school to work by providing me with the communication and leadership skills needed to succeed in my career. Framingham state also set me up with an internship at the YMCA, which allowed me to translate that into a career path for myself. I was able to apply what I learned at Framingham State by implementing successful healthy lifestyle programs for our members.”
