Participating faculty and surveyed students see an added value in a more clearly designed course experience. QM helps instructors to design a course site that makes it easier for students to get started. This includes setting clear expectations and consistent navigation.

When surveyed, 97% of students in QM approved courses agreed or strongly agreed that the syllabus or instructions clearly explained when the instructor would respond to questions and provide feedback on assignments. This was 17% higher than for students in courses not QM-approved.
