This program is tailor-made for English-speaking teachers in Central America, South America, Mexico, Europe, and Asia, providing an exceptional opportunity to advance both academically and professionally without interrupting your overseas assignment.

Our condensed courses, enriched by prior readings, ensure a comprehensive and flexible learning experience. You'll culminate your studies with a final project that showcases your growth and expertise.

    Note: This program is exclusively offered through the C. Louis Cedrone International Education Center and is designed for teachers living and working abroad. It does not include licensure.
     

Admission Requirements

The applicant must have a U.S. Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university or the equivalent if one holds a foreign degree.

The applicant should have a preferred overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 or greater on a 4.0 scale.

The applicant must have at least 1-2 years teaching experience.

Program Requirements

This program consists of a total of nine (9) courses, eight (8) core and one (1) elective. As a culminating experience, each matriculated student in the International Teaching program will be required to complete a portfolio to be turned in at the end of the student’s final course and submitted to the C. Louis Cedrone International Education Center at Framingham State University.

The elective course is determined by the program coordinator and reflects local interest and needs. Possible electives are listed below. Additional choices may be available.
