Historical Note:

            Beatrice Whittier Turner graduated from Framingham State Normal School in 1936 with a degree in education. Her teaching career included ten years at Plymouth State College’s Laboratory School in Plymouth, New Hampshire. She retired from this position in 1976, and has been serving as a church administration since then.

 

Scope and Content:

            This collection consists of one typed page of remembrances from Turner’s school days at Framingham State Normal School. Along with this are eight photographs that date back to the mid-1930s.

 

Provenance: The contents of this collection were a gift from Beatrice Turner – member of the class of 1936 – in 1997.
