Advanced Placement & International Baccalaureate

Scoring high enough on your AP or IB exams is one way to receive college credit. Official score reports should be submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the time of enrollment so they can be formally evaluated for credit.

AP Scores

Scores of three (3) or higher – FSU code is 3519

Dual Enrollment

You may have the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school through dual enrollment. Credit is awarded for college-level courses completed at regionally accredited colleges and universities in the liberal arts and sciences as well as some professional courses. Transfer credit is given only for courses in which you received a grade of C- or higher. There is no limit to the amount of credit which can be transferred.

Official college transcript(s) for these course(s) should be submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the time of enrollment so they can be formally evaluated for credit.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

CLEP enables students to earn college credit by examination. Credit is awarded for scores of 50 or higher – FSU code is 3519. Official score reports should be submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the time of enrollment so they can be formally evaluated for credit.
