Joanna Pushee (she/her/hers) is the Assistant Director of English Language Programs and Community Education. In this role, she coordinates the Adventures in Lifelong Learning program for MetroWest residents who are aged 60+. Joanna holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English and French at Mount Holyoke College. Joanna spent her junior year abroad in Montpellier, France, and she has taught in Prague, Czech Republic. Joanna has taught English Language Learners at Curry College, Lesley University, and Northern Essex Community College as well as at a number of private language schools. She has worked as a Reading & Writing Learning Specialist at Massachusetts Bay Community College. She has also worked as a Student Success Advisor. Joanna is a member of TESOL International and MATSOL. In her spare time, Joanna enjoys doing restorative yoga, cooking, and reading.
