Sam Biasi (they/them) received their B.A. in Political Science from Clark University and their Ph.D. in International Relations from Boston College. They are interested in civil wars, insurgency, and terrorism, with a geographic focus on the Middle East. Their research investigates the strategies and internal politics of non-state armed groups.
