FSU Alert
FSU will use this alert system to notify faculty, staff and students about school closings, inclement weather and public safety or community warnings. FSU Alert is setup to send notifications to your Framingham State University email by default. Mobile phones, land lines, and additional email addresses must be entered by the user. Log in through myframingham to configure your profile or log in directly at www.fsualert.com. Log in using your username and password for your University accounts.
All faculty and staff are assigned a Framingham State email address. Faculty and staff can access their email account using Microsoft Outlook (on a Mac or a PC) or through a web browser at mail.framingham.edu.
Blackboard
Blackboard is used at Framingham State University to enhance student learning. Faculty and students connect in online and web-enhanced classes anytime, anywhere there is an internet connection. Blackboard Learn and BBGrader are also accessible from a mobile device by downloading the mobile apps from the Apple or Google Play app stores.
Access myIT.framingham.edu to review self-service support documents or to submit a request for assistance or report a problem. During regular business hours visit the Education Technology Office in Hemenway Hall 105 or 109 or call 508-626-4927.
Teaching with Technology
Many classrooms and meeting spaces across campus have been equipped with audio/visual projection systems. All classrooms have a VGA and most classrooms an HDMI connection to connect your laptop to the projector. If you have a guest speaker coming in and requires a laptop loan, please contact the TRC for loan support (24 hour advanced notice is requested).

Printing and Copying Services
Most departments have their own printers or share with other departments on their floor. Every employee should have access to a black and white printer, a color printer and a copy machine located near their office.
Each building on campus has a copier for faculty and staff to use in a centrally located area. All copy machines are networked so faculty and staff can print to them and many have a fax card built into them to send or receive faxes. For larger print jobs, The Copy Center is available for faculty and staff only.
FSUgo
Download FSUgo, a free app for Apple and Android devices, or access the app features at m.framingham.edu. FSUgo features: a campus directory, event and calendar listings, news, athletic game schedules, library services, the campus map, social media, dining options and other useful information for students, faculty, staff, alumni and visitors.
Banner
Banner is a fully integrated software solution developed by Ellucian (formerly SunGard SCT), and is used by the University to manage its business operations. The Banner system is organized in different modules that manage student services, finance and human resources.
