Blackboard

Blackboard Learn connects faculty, students and staff anywhere, anytime there is an internet connection. Blackboard Learn is the latest release the institution implemented since the course management system was adopted in 2000. Blackboard is used by faculty and students to share information and course materials, to engage in critical thinking activities and collaborate online.

Faculty and students may view Blackboard Help Videos from the Blackboard Help website.

The Blackboard app for Students is available for both iOS and Android devices. The Blackboard app allows students to receive notifications, view content, review grades and more, all from their mobile device.

Blackboard Updates

The Blackboard move to a new cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) hosting model is complete.

What do you need to know?

  • The move to the Blackboard Learn SaaS solution does not require anyone to change the way they currently use Blackboard.
  • The change created opportunities to clean-up courses and introduce new functionality into the e-learning environment.
  • The Education Technology office is available to answer your questions. Reference the information on the ITS Blackboard webpage for more information. Email eto@framingham.edu.
