Family and Guest Orientation (formally known as Parent Orientation) is a day-long event that occurs on the same day as your student’s orientation in June. This event covers in more in-depth information about the services and resources available to your student during their time at Framingham State University.

The cost of Parent Orientation is $45/person. It includes a light breakfast, lunch, dinner, a parent handbook, and informational materials. There is no cost for your student’s orientation. Your student’s orientation program is completely separate. You will be reunited with them at the end of the day. Your day is jam-packed with information about safety and security, housing, commuting, health and wellness, academic success, student involvement, etc. Along with the informational sessions there will opportunities to win prizes, dance, and receive information in a variety of ways.

It is a long day, but our hope is that you will leave with all your questions answered and feeling comfortable with your student having chosen Framingham State University.  Please select this link to learn more about the Family and Guest Orientation Day and our New Student and Family Programs https://www.framingham.edu/the-fsu-difference/new-student-and-family-programs/first-year-students/orientation/index.html
