Service and Civic Engagement

“Service is the rent we pay for being. It is the very purpose of life, and not something you do in your spare time.” ― Marian Wright Edelman

Community Service and Active Citizenship @ FSU

Student Involvement's Community Service and Active Citizenship programs range from individual volunteer placements to group projects.  Framingham State students can work alongside faculty and staff to assist local families, animal shelters, children, sustainability programs and much more.  The options are limitless, and the staff welcomes ideas for special opportunities with agencies and events.

Service opportunities can expand a student's view of self and the community.  Getting involved at the local level can open the door to learning about organizations, culture, community and much more.  Take the initiative to make some impact - sign up today.
