On-Campus Student Hiring: Our office is here to assist on-campus offices with posting their students positions (Federal Work Study and Student Contractors-Interns and non Federal Work Study Student workers). 

Posting instruction for FSU Employers (On-Campus):

  • Visit https://app.joinhandshake.com/register and click “Employer”.
  • Fill out the required fields.
  • Important: Even though you are an on-campus employer, you will still click “create new company.” Later in the sign-up process, you will be able to connect with Framingham State.
  • The name of “your company” should always be Framingham State University + the name of your department at FSU (example: “Framingham State University Career Services and Employer Relations”).
  • The name of “your job listing” should always be Framingham State University + the name of your department at FSU + the job title (example: “Framingham State University Career Services and Employer Relations Office Assistant - Federal Work Study Applicants Only”).

As a member of the Student Development Division and Campus Engagement Unit, the Director supervises all aspects of the Office of Career Services and Employer Relations, including the planning, implementation and administration of comprehensive career development programs for students and alumni. The Director is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining partnerships with major employers in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and, specifically, in the MetroWest Region in order to facilitate internship and career opportunities for Framingham State University students and alumni. This position requires a solid understanding and ability to use current career management technology platforms as well as desire to learn and master new technologies and platforms.  This is a forward-facing position working directly with students, while creating a strong community network of employers and community members to support the work.
