Dr. Bartholomew Brinkman is Associate Professor of English and the founding director of Framingham State University's Center for Digital Humanities. He is the Project Director for a recently awarded National Endowment for the Humanities/American Rescue Plan grant and a National Endowment for the Humanities/Humanities Initiatives grant. He also directs the Modern American Poetry Site

Hedda Monaghan

Research and Digital Pedagogy Librarian


Hedda Monaghan (they/them) is the Research and Digital Pedagogy Librarian at Framingham State. They support faculty and student DH projects, in particular the creation of Omeka exhibits. Their research interests focus on citation networks and the scholarship on mending. 

Leighah Beausoleil

Student Intern (Spring 2022)


Leighah is as an intern of the Center for Digital Humanities during the Spring 2022 Semester. She is a junior at Framingham State University majoring in English with a concentration in Journalism, and minors in both Chinese and Political Science. Leighah is Editor-in-Chief of the school’s newspaper, The Gatepost. Leighah also works as a Peer Mentor in the University's First-Year Foundations Program as well as Center Assistant for the Chris Walsh Center in addition to being the Newman Civic Fellow for 2022 and freelancing for The Woonsocket Call and Pawtucket Times.

Sabrina Grammatic

Student Intern (Spring 2022)


Sabrina Grammatic is an intern of the Center for Digital Humanities for the Spring 2022 semester. She is a senior at Framingham State University majoring in English with a minor in Communication Arts. She is also a part of the English department's 4+1 Program and the Honors Program. She is currently the Vice President of the student run theatre organization on campus, The Hilltop Players

Tara Cormier

Student Intern (Fall 2022)

Tara is an intern at the Center for Digital Humanities during the Fall 2022 semester. They are a junior at Framingham State University, majoring in English and minoring in Digital Humanities. Tara transferred to FSU from Bunker Hill Community College in Boston and currently works for FSU's Office of Campus Events as their Lead Reservations Assistant.

Ingris Ramirez

Student Intern (Fall 2022)

Ingris is an intern at the Center for Digital Humanities during the Fall 2022. She is a  junior at Framingham state university majoring in Spanish. She is the vice-president of the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society Sigma Delta Pi at Framingham state. Ingris is a transferred student from university of Sucre in Colombia. 

Olivia Nicolazzo

Student Intern (Spring 2023)


Olivia Nicolazzo is currently a Senior undergraduate student at Framingham State University. She will soon be completing her BA in English, with a minor in Digital Humanities. In addition to this, she has been involved in several on-campus positions, including a role as a mentor to other undergraduate students, and an internship with the Henry E. Whittemore library. 

She graduated from Grafton High School in the spring of 2019, where she completed a year-long directed study with the school's head librarian. She also volunteered at the local Grafton Public Library for several years.

Olivia hopes to eventually pursue a master's degree in the field of Library Science. 

Sarah Sagan

Student Intern (Fall 2023)


Sarah is an intern at the Center for Digital Humanities during the Fall 2023 semester. She is an English graduate student that also works for the university’s Information Technology department.

With years of graphic design experience, some of Sarah’s work has been featured in social media for the English department, the Mancuso Center, and the Whittemore Library.
