MINOR IN GRAPHIC DESIGN (5 COURSES)


Students in the Graphic Design minor will be introduced to the fundamentals of graphic design through hands-on practice with material resources and digital tools. Students study design principles theoretically, practically, and gain knowledge from design professionals. 


The minor requires five (5) courses from the following:

  • ARTS 140 Introduction to Graphic Design or
    • ARTS 230 Digital Tools for Art and Design
  • ARTS 216 Interactive Design or
    • ARTS 366 Branding and Identity Design
  • ARTS 222 Color and Design
  • ARTS 335 Principles of User Experience Design
  • ARTS 361 Typography
