Given the ongoing concern regarding the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and the guidance from the state on canceling events that are expected to draw large crowds from outside our community, we have decided to cancel the Rams Rising events scheduled for Saturday, April 4th and Saturday, April 11th.
We were really looking forward to hosting you on our beautiful campus and giving you an opportunity to meet with faculty from your desired major, take a tour, and enjoy brunch. But the safety of our community is always our highest priority, and we feel it is necessary to take this action. If you would like to speak with a faculty member from your anticipated area of study, we’d be happy to help you arrange that, or if you have questions about your Financial Aid package, please contact us.
Our team has created fun and engaging virtual events to connect you with faculty, staff, and other accepted students. Register below and check back as more events are added throughout the spring.
Live Event Schedule
New events are added regularly, so be sure to check each week for new opportunities to connect. Recordings of most events will be posted if you are unable to attend live.
Orientation and Next Steps
May 6 at 5 p.m., May 20 at 10 a.m., and June 3 at 7 p.m.
In this session, you will meet the staff and learn about the next steps now that you have decided to attend Framingham State and join the Class of 2024. We will discuss the two-part orientation program that will be taking place in virtual spaces and how we are planning on having students connect with each other throughout the summer. We will also discuss the processes that need to be completed prior to part two of Orientation - Virtual Advising Days. We will also be discussing the roles that family members and guests will have throughout the orientation process and how they can be part of it, which will include an online orientation component as well. While Orientation will not be in person this year, we will make sure that you are ready to go when the semester begins. Attending this Next Steps session will help students and their family members how it is all going to happen.
