The Film, Media Production and Performance program is a Concentration within the Communication Arts major.

The Film, Media Production and Performance program offers you a dynamic and interdisciplinary education at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and creative expression. Rooted in both theory and hands-on practice, the program prepares you to thrive in a rapidly evolving media landscape—whether behind the camera, in front of it, or in the editing suite.

Framingham State's passionate professors will provide you with the foundational knowledge in film and media history, screenwriting, acting, sound and video production, and digital editing. Through studio courses and collaborative projects, you will learn to craft compelling narratives across various platforms, from traditional film and television to online and interactive media.
