Alumni Achievement Awards
Each year, the Framingham State Alumni Association recognizes alumni for their accomplishments and contributions in both their careers and in their communities. Alumni Achievement Award winners are honored annually as part of Reunion Weekend or Homecoming.
Any person or group may nominate an alumnus/a of the University for this recognition by contacting the Office of Alumni Relations at 508.626.4923 or alumni [at] framingham.edu.
This award recognizes an individual who has made contributions in the field of education and is actively involved in his or her community. Nominees may be teachers, professors, counselors, librarians, administrators, school board members or educational advocates associated with public or private institutions at all levels of education.
The highest honor awarded by the University and the Alumni Association. The award recognizes outstanding generosity and service to the University; outstanding participation in community and civic affairs; and unusual achievement in one’s field of endeavor.
The Inclusive Excellence Alumni Achievement Award is presented to an outstanding alumnus/alumnae who has shown distinguished achievement in their given field, has championed issues of diversity, equity and inclusion and has supported the University community. (Awarded annually at Homecoming)
Recognized members of our alumni constituency who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their careers or professions; whose work has contributed to the advancement of their community and its citizens; and whose commitment to the University has remained strong for many years, all while supplying outstanding service to FSU alumni.
Recognizes established and future leaders among Framingham State University’s young alumni, defined as those who have been alumni for 15 years or less. Standards for recognition include one or more of the following: demonstrated leadership capability; substantial indication of a commitment to the service of others; demonstration of potential for leadership/distinction in the long term; outstanding generosity to the University; and substantial commitment to Framingham State University and its mission.
