This interdisciplinary minor is a collaboration of the Art and Music, Fashion Design and Retailing, and History departments. Learn about what goes into operating a museum, including grant writing, curation, and preservation techniques. You might even decide to intern at the Danforth Art Museum, Framingham State University's own comprehensive cultural destination.
Sponsored by the Art and Music, Fashion Design and Retailing, and History departments, this interdepartmental minor requires that students take a minimum of four (4) courses outside of their major subject area, including an internship.
AJ is an Art History major with a minor in Museum Studies. As the curatorial fellow at FSU’s Danforth Art Museum, he has curated the permanent collection installation. He has also gained professional experience toward a career working at a museum.
