I was trained as a Neuroscientist and Physiologist. My main area of interest is how different compounds, both natural and synthetic, can alter the structure and function of the body. Working with FSU students, I have examined the effects of soy, milk, and different pesticides in a variety of model systems. I am currently examining the potential role of trace estrogenic compounds in water that may be biologically active in the body. I also serve as a pre-health advisor for students and am the advisor to the Chi Omega Chapter of Beta Beta Beta, the biological honor society on campus.
