Dr. Prehar's research and teaching interests include career paths for psychology majors and diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. She typically works with 1-2 research assistants a year; students who have completed the psychology research methods sequence, and who are interested in research opportunities in these areas, are encouraged to contact her via email. Prior to joining Framingham State in 2003, Dr. Prehar served as the Career Advisor for Psychology Majors at Colorado State University, and the Director of Psychology Advising at the University of Pittsburgh. At FSU, she helped establish the charter for our Psi Chi Honor Society Chapter, and she served as its first faculty advisor for 5 years. She has also co-advised the Psychology Club.
