Dr. Jen Lin grew up in Michigan and studied social cognition focusing on attitude-behavior consistency, stereotyping, and role model influence in graduate school. Her current research interests are in prejudice and increasing equity in higher education by focusing on anti-racist and inclusive practices to support students and faculty of marginalized identities. At Framingham State, Dr. Lin independently created two new courses: Psychology of Prejudice and LGBTQ+ Psychology. In 2018, she received the Beacon Award for advancing inclusive excellence, the Faculty Member of the Year Award, and the Advisor of the Year Award. In 2023, she received the Distinguished Faculty Award for Excellence in Scholarship.
