Jennifer C. Dowling is an experienced educator, designer, artist, and author. She has taught courses in graphic design, visual communication, motion graphics, animation, and advertising since 1996 at Framingham State University. She maintains her professional design practice creating branding and marketing projects for local companies and non-profit organizations. Jennifer wrote and illustrated the book "Multimedia Demystified" published by McGraw-Hill, and explores artificial intelligence capabilities and the influence of such tools on design and art. She is also a working artist who uses various approaches with digital imaging, mixed media, and mosaics. She explores the therapeutic benefits of creative pursuits and strives for authenticity in each piece. Some of he r experimental methods include using a variety of software programs merged with handmade art techniques. Collaborative projects and community engagement are included in her endeavors.
