Professor Levandosky's research interests lie in the field of partial differential equations, specifically nonlinear dispersive equations, such as the Korteweg-De Vries equation and the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation. She has published several articles describing the smoothing properties of solutions to these types of nonlinear dispersive equations. She is also a proponent of open-source texts and is a contributing author to the Calculus texts published by OpenStax. In addition, Prof. Levandosky is the Program Coordinator for the MEd in Mathematics program. Before coming to Framingham State University, she held a postdoctoral position at Stanford University where she taught both undergraduate and graduate students.
