Katie Jafarli is the Assistant Director for Employer Engagement in the Center for Student Experience & Career Development. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Communication from the University of Maine. Prior to joining Framingham State University, Katie worked for a Greater Boston-based recruiting firm, partnering with employers across a variety of industries to support talent acquisition and workforce development. She also worked in international education, managing partnerships with colleges and universities to connect students with study abroad and experiential learning opportunities. Katie is passionate about building partnerships with employers that create meaningful opportunities for students to gain real-world experience and prepare for future careers. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, playing and coaching soccer, and traveling.
