Originally from central Massachusetts, Dr. Campbell Obaid received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Framingham State University, with a concentration in human services and a minor in English. She then spent a year working for Boston University and the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veteran's Hospital in Bedford, Massachusetts. In 2009, she began a doctoral program in social psychology at Clark University, receiving her M.A. in 2012 and her Ph.D. in 2015. Dr. Campbell Obaid has a wide range of research interests involving the areas of peace, violence, social responsibility, and political psychology. She is also a founding member of the MotherScholar Collective, an interdisciplinary group focused on empowering academic mothers+ to share their voices through collaborative and inclusive research.
