Marianne McGowan has been a journalist and public-school teacher and part of the FSU community since 2010. She holds a Master of Ed in English and is in her fourth year in the First Year Writing Program. She also supports students in their writing at CASA (the Center for Academic Success and Achievement). Teaching interests include social justice, equity and inclusion in the classroom, and diverse learning styles, as well as sharing her love of writing and literature with students.
