Patricia Lynne joined the faculty at Framingham State in 2006. A first-generation student herself, Dr. Lynne is invested in teaching first-year students, as well as future teachers and professional writers. Her primary research area is writing assessment, but more recently, she has become invested in open education resources, winning the Massachusetts Faculty OER Gold Award in 2023. She coordinates writing placement and the writing studio program for the university and became Chair of the General Education Program Area in Fall 2022.
