Dr. Tapia Hernandez received his B.S. in chemistry from Augsburg University in Minneapolis and his PhD in chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His PhD research involved the development of light-based molecular tools for biomedical applications. Currently, Dr. Tapia Hernandez is a research chemist at U.S. Army DEVCOM Soldier Center and a lab instructor for Chemistry labs.
