Dr. Pilkenton is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Food Science and Coordinator of the Master of Science in Food Science and Nutrition Science with a Specialization in Food Science and Nutrition Science. She is an analytical chemist. Her research interests are in the application of analytical chemistry and modern chemical instrumentation to environmental chemistry and food science.
