Dr. Waetzig joined the Biochemistry, Chemistry and Food Science Department at Framingham State in 2013. She is an organic chemist whose research focuses on small molecule synthesis, with an emphasis on multi-component coupling and palladium-catalyzed coupling reactions. Dr. Waetzig is also involved with the Pre-Medical and Pre-Health Program at FSU, which supports the transition of FSU students into careers in healthcare.
