Thomas Severo is Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, Global Studies, and Law. He is a graduate of Holy Cross, where he earned his bachelor’s, and of Suffolk University, where he earned his doctor of jurisprudence. 

A litigator by training, Thomas has been teaching since 2017. He brings to Framingham State a wealth of experience from his practice in the areas of immigration, ESOPs, and insurance defense, as well as a passion for experiential education. In addition to his course-load and ongoing legal practice, he is currently serving as lead petitioner in a student-driven entreaty to the Department of Transportation regarding an amendment to the Code of Massachusetts Regulations.
