Departmental Awards

Child and Family Studies Award:

This award recognizes a high achieving student in the Child and Family Studies program. This award recognizes a student for their academic performance, leadership, professional development, and service to the department and university.

Early Childhood Education Award:

This award recognizes a high achieving student in the graduating class with a major in early childhood education. This award recognizes a student for their academic performance, leadership, professional development, and service to the department and university.

Elementary Education Award:

This award recognizes a high achieving student in the graduating class with a major in elementary education. This award recognizes a student for their academic performance, leadership, professional development, and service to the department and university.

Secondary Education Award:

This award recognizes a high achieving student completing a licensure program in secondary education. This award recognizes a student for their academic performance, leadership, professional development, and service to the department and university.

Education Department Award:

This award is designed to recognize a student who, by exemplifying excellence in service, academic performance, and/or research, has made significant contributions to the Education Department. This award is presented to a student from any Education program.

Educator Alumni Awards:

Awarded by the State Universities Council of Presidents.
