International Business

A strong understanding of how the global economy operates is an in-demand skill for the growing number of businesses that have an international footprint. In fact, most businesses these days are not isolated from the rest of the world. Global supply chains, outsourcing, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and finance are part of the new realities of all companies large or small. The University’s International Business major prepares you to be a valuable employee within global business ventures by providing a strong business background, combined with an understanding of international finance, marketing and multicultural understanding and competency.

You will have numerous career opportunities as an International Business graduate, from managing foreign offices and markets in the areas of sales, import and exports, marketing, finance and management to working in human resources, purchasing, and dealing with capital markets. Opportunities exist within foreign companies operating in the United States, government agencies, global institutions, multinational companies, nonprofit organizations and more.
