The bill cuts over $1 trillion from Medicaid and $186 billion from SNAP, while introducing work requirements and shifting costs to states. We’ll explore the impact of these changes on low-income families, people with disabilities, and marginalized communities, and discuss what a more equitable public assistance system could look like.
